Ski Dubai

If you want to experience snow in the desert, in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to go to Ski Dubai. Since 2005, the largest indoor ski resort has opened, and its name is, simply, Ski Dubai. With 400 meters of snow-covered slope, Ski Dubai guarantees hours of skiing to its customers, in conditions that are necessarily optimal, since they are fully controlled. Located in the middle of the desert, the Ski Dubai indoor resort is a real technological feat. While the average temperature outside is 40°, the Ski Dubai slope is maintained at a constant temperature of -1°. Many ski enthusiasts hope one day to have the chance to ski Dubai’s slope.

The technical specifications of Ski Dubai are an avalanche of figures, each more surprising than the last: 25,000 m2 of interior surface, 30 tons of snow made every day, 250 million dollars for construction costs, capacity for 1500 people, and 1 meter thick insulating walls…
