Sky Views Dubai

Sky Views Observatory

Sky Views Dubai is a popular tourist attraction located in the Downtown Dubai area. It is an observation platform located on the 52nd and 53rd floors with two towers, over 220 meters high on one of the towers of The Address Residence Fountain Views residential complex.

The idea to create Sky Views Dubai was initiated in 2013 by Emaar Properties, a Dubai-based real estate company. The project was designed to provide visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city of Dubai and its surroundings.

Construction of Sky Views Dubai began in 2014 and was completed in 2018. The viewing platform consists of two glass observation decks, located more than 240 meters high. Visitors can board a high-speed elevator that transports them to the platform in less than 60 seconds.

Sky Views Dubai offers unobstructed views of Dubai’s most famous attractions, such as the Burj Khalifa Tower, the Dubai Fountain and the Dubai Mall.

Some of the most Instagrammed views from the observation deck include the Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Road.

Different attractions

In addition to an observation deck at a height of 219.5 meters (720 feet), the attraction also offers an adrenaline-pumping glass slide and razor wire walk.

The main attraction is the observation deck overlooking Dubai. After admiring the view in all directions, you can try the glass walkway.

The glass walkway is 46 meters long and connects the two towers.

The other two attractions are the glass slide and the Edge Walk.

Glass Slide

The Dubai Sky Views Glass Slide is a real slide, but it’s made of glass and stands at a height of 219.5 meters (720 feet). Visitors sit and slide from level 53 to level 52 along an inclined “corridor” that is completely transparent.

Only visitors weighing between 30 kg and 150 kg can participate.
Only visitors between 120 cm and 200 cm tall can slide down the glass slide.
Participants should wear modest, comfortable clothing – no skirts, dresses, stilettos, shoes or boots with sharp metal edges that could damage the glass.
All visitors will be given a special mat to use when sliding on the glass.
Visitors are not allowed to slide while lying down (on their back or stomach).

Edge Walk

The Sky Views Edge Walk is one of the most exciting activities you can try in Dubai.

After a safety briefing and donning a safety harness, visitors are escorted to the open air area. They are then strapped into a harness, after which they can step out, lean back or try to touch the sky. During the walk, there are no security barriers between you and the breathtaking view of Dubai.

The Edge Walk is for people between the ages of 12 and 65.
Personal parental permission is required for those under 18.
Only guests weighing between 30 and 120 kg can participate in the Edge Walk.
Only guests between 135 cm and 200 cm tall may go down the glass slide.
Visitors should wear modest, comfortable clothing and shoes with covered toes – no skirts, dresses, stilettos, flip-flops or loose shoes.
